Sydney Oz Comic-Con - Day 1 wrap-up

The crowds were bustling for the first day of Oz Comic-Con in Sydney’s Darling Harbour.

Day one of Comic-Con drew a significant crowd, with many a Star Wars fan visiting the joint 501st Legion, Rebel Legion and Mandalorian Mercs booth.

There was plenty to see and some great opportunities to interact with characters from the Star Wars universe. The Endor Speeder Bike proved particularly popular, as did crowd favourite Chewbacca and Darth Vader.

Fans were able to recreate the epic scene aboard the Capital ship, Profundity, helping the Rebels escape with the Death Star plans, with Lord Vader close at their heels.

There was an opportunity to pose as your favourite collectable action figure.

The life-size X-Wing at the Disney Star War’s booth was a hit with the crowd and with the 3 fan clubs, who proceeded to descend upon the starfighter for a group photo.

We looking forward to all of the fun and action again, when the doors of Sydney Comic-Con reopen at 9am on Sunday.
