Imperial engineers attend VEX Robotic Championships in Homebush

Over the weekend of December 3 and 4, the Southern Cross Garrison attended the VEX Championship in Homebush, Sydney.

As part of the 501st Legion's mission to promote the Star Wars franchise and bring joy to fans of all ages, our troopers interacted with attendees at the VEX Championship.

The VEX Championship is a robotics competition for middle and high school students, and the 501st Legion is excited to support the next generation of engineers and scientists as they showcase their skills and creativity. This was a great opportunity for us to engage with the future tech leaders of the world, while our Imperial mouse droids had some fun with other robots and droids too.

The influence of Star Wars on droid builders in the VEX championships has been incredibly positive and has helped to inspire creativity and innovation among the participants.

We look forward to being involved with the next VEX Championship in 2023.
