Imperial troopers attend Cessnock festive light show

Just before kicking off the new year, the Hunter Hornets of the Southern Cross Garrison participated in one final event on the night of December 30th - a New Year's light show at Cessnock in the Hunter Valley.

The light displays were a hit, with about 50 members of the local community in attendance. The light shows were themed to music, including a special melody from John Williams' iconic Star Wars soundtrack.

We were thrilled to be a part of this festive event and bring some Star Wars magic to the community. Our costumes and props were a hit with attendees, with many young fans asking for pictures with their favorite characters.

We want to thank the Ekert family for inviting us to participate and for putting on such a fantastic event. We look forward to attending again next Christmas.
