What is your regular day job?
IT Project Coordinator
Tell us why you joined the 501st Legion?
For the love of playing Dress Up and to hopefully help some people in the community.
How long have you been a part of the 501st Legion?
I joined the legion in April 2014
What’s your favourite troop?
Tough question. I love SupaNova in Sydney. This events attracts the largest number of our garrison members and really brings us together.
It’s also fun to see all of the other cosplay taking place in the wider community.
Are you currently working on any costumes to plan to in the future?
Currently finalising an OT Biker Scout, Working on a Seventh Sister, and potentially doing an Officer and Nihuls
Other than trooping, what hobbies do you have?
I am an avid reader, and have been known to sew clothes for fun.
Outside of trooping, what’s your favourite thing about being a part of the 501st Legion?
I love the global family feeling I get from most legion members. I can travel overseas and know that I will meet people with similar interests.
I am particularly fond of the large international events such as Star Wars Celebration and will be attending my 4th such event in April 2019.
What advice would you give to anyone thinking of joining the 501st Legion?
Don’t be afraid or put off by the costuming standards. There are many resources at your disposal and members of your local area will help you on your way.
