Bad Guys Doing Good: The 501st Legion Takes Part in Newcastle Relay for Life

On March 11, the 501st Legion, a worldwide organization of Star Wars fans who dress up in movie-quality costumes of the series' infamous villains, will participate in the Newcastle Relay for Life. This event aims to raise funds and awareness for Cancer Council's vital research, prevention, and support services. Our members will be walking laps around the track in their costumes, bringing a unique and exciting touch to this important cause.

For us, "Bad Guys Doing Good" is more than just a catchy tagline. It represents our commitment to using our passion for Star Wars to make a positive impact in our communities. Many of our team members have been directly affected by Cancer, either through their own diagnosis or the loss of loved ones. By participating in Newcastle Relay for Life, we hope to honor their memories and show support for those who are currently fighting this disease.

Our members' costumes are more than just an homage to the iconic Star Wars characters. They are also powerful symbols of hope and resilience. Cancer is a battle that requires bravery and determination, and our team embodies those qualities as they walk around the track, raising funds and awareness for a worthy cause.

We urge you to support our team in this endeavor. Donations to the Cancer Council are vital to continue their lifesaving work. By contributing to the 501st Legion's efforts, you can make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by Cancer.

So, if you're in the Newcastle area on March 11, come out to the Relay for Life and cheer on the "Bad Guys Doing Good." And if you're unable to attend, please consider making a donation to our team. Together, we can help make a difference in the fight against Cancer.
